Preschool

 At First Impressions Academy in Fayetteville, NC, our preschool is both fun and educational. We are not a daycare; rather, we are an academic-based preschool teaching a variety of subjects to help prepare your child for further schooling. Our qualified, loving teachers are dedicated to helping your child grow not only intellectually but socially. Parents are encouraged to get involved with our preschool, as we will provide you with bimonthly progress reports to show you where your child is excelling and struggling.

Every preschool class has a 10 students to 2 teachers ratio, our Kindergarten prep class has a 10:1 ratio and each teacher has a degree in education plus experience in the field or a master’s degree. Your child needs to be potty-trained at the time of class registration. We do enroll year round, as early as the month of their 3rd birthday as long as they are potty independent.

Preschool Options

When you choose First Impressions Academy preschool, you will have the choice between morning half-day classes from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or afternoon half-day classes from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. You are also able to choose a Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday or Monday through Friday schedule.

Resources

For preschool, we offer resources taught by professionals who are certified or degreed in their field.  Each day is a different resource.  Resources are optional and additional to tuition.  You may choose from a resource that is on a day that your student attends class.  These classes are 35 minutes in length and are held after their academic classes.  Resources offered are: Music, Art, Happy Feet Soccer, P.E, and Spanish.  Email us for more information on these classes!

Curriculum

At our preschool, your child will work on the Handwriting Without Tears program to grow independence when it comes to writing. They also will learn reading and math every day, as well as science and social studies on alternating days.
